Global reality hit ‘Big Brother’ is still forbidden in China, but talent shows are everywhere. Local TV stations, that until recently were producing copycat versions of shows like ‘the X Factor’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ recently started purchasing formats from foreign production companies. Has China entered a new phase in copyright enforcement and what restrictions is the chinese government putting on reality TV in China?
